PAST/BIO: Lucian was born in the distant future, around the same time as Jack Harkness, although that wasn't his name at the time. They knew each other quite well, in fact, they were quite good friends. That is until Jack became a Time Agent. Lucian was the jealous type; he was angry that he'd been refused from the Agency and took it out on Jack, mainly because his jealousy had slowly been growing over the years from Jack's other talents. They didn't speak again, and Jack went off to have his own adventure in 'the past'.

Lucian is very good at holding grudges, and when he was finally able to, he killed another Time Agent for the Vortex Manipulator he craved so much. He found out that Jack was heading Torchwood and jumped into the past, or as we know it, the present, at Cardiff, looking for him. But when he got there, the rift spazzed and sucked in Torchwood Four and also sent him to another time. He jumped back and forth unwillingly, managing to inadvertently drag people with him until he fixed the Manipulator. Then he just brought people back for fun.

He was trying to make Jack's life more difficult, bringing people in that would cause the rift to go haywire. He even managed to bring back Jack's future daughter, though she wasn't aware. Lucian doesn't seem to care about the consequences of messing with the rift either, and he's very careful about doing so, as he doesn't want Jack to know it's his fault just yet.
